Only a few days now until turkey, family, football and, of course, socially-acceptable gluttony.
We have much to be thankful for. The things that I'm most thankful for are the things that so easily get lost in the grind of daily living. It's the card created by Emily that says, bab (supposed to read, 'dad') you are the king!; the brief conversation with Elizabeth that ranges from a boy in her class that likes her to her newly formed 'garage' band; and the potty break with Chloe where she shushs me so that I can hear her pee. It's when my wife, to my surprise, says how proud she is of me. I love my life, and I realized how blessed I am as a husband and dad.
