Depending on how well the little guy is feeling I am guessing I hit the sack around 11pm and wake up around 7:15am. I am the same way, but what keeps me going are sometimes those late nights where I actually get something done. It makes me happy. I usually catch up on sleep on the weekend.

That's awesome Guy! Sounds like God's up to some great things at Journey & your passion & gift to build community has always inspired me.

As for the secular job thing...I can certainly relate & I love what simply living your life before coworkers can do...the conversations this sparks. And something as simple as doing your job & doing the right thing.

Gary & I are heading out to CO for a long weekend, but when we get back, WE HAVE TO GET TOGETHER. Let's please put something on the calendar. BTW...I loved little Chloe dancing. We watched the video several times last night. You need to get that on YouTube.

I like the new look Guy. As with your other blog though, I must say that the text is a bit small and hard to read. Also, an About page would be nice. But that's just my humble opinion (pun intended) :)

thinking that i had to prove someone else wrong in order to be right. when someone pointed out to me, that, in fact, i don't need to make anyone wrong to be right it wasn't a conversation about faith, and i still haven't completely broken away from the habit of wanting someone else to conceed defeat in a debate, but i'm working on it. anyway i think that as christians who believe in the One True God, we get a little arrogant sometimes and we alienate other people who believe differently by our 'turn or burn' mentalities, when it's not even about who is right and wrong. It's about love. The love God had, has, and will have for us, and the love for others that He wants us to operate in. And about Faith, stepping out into the unknown and knowing, not hoping, but knowing He's gonna have steady ground waiting. And about works, not big shiny works, but simple things. Looking around and seeing the needs of others who's paths just happen to cross yours at any particular moment, and if you can, filling them. we should not be indifferent to the things that go on around us. when i first came to the Lord, i thought my pupose was to show the world how wrong they were, convert all the heathens. Now, i know my purpose is really just to show the world some love.

hey pastor guy, this is so true.. it sounds so easy to go follow jesus.. but yea, the sacrifice means more than i want to give sometimes. it's a challenge that im continually working on improving. leaning on him, not others. even praying on a regular basis.. with all of the things i manage TO do in the day.. how come talking to jesus gets booted out?
